Noticed that many bladers Beylaunchers have broken rip tabs during a recent tournament.
Those that broke happen due to the letting off of the tab at maximum pull, the recoil pulls back and caused the tab to hit back with an impact that breaks it.
Tried using BB-81 Launcher Rubber, but the rubber tab is hard and heavy, so sometimes will bruise the hand when the tab recoils back.
Solution...
Mori Customised Foam Launcher Tab Protector Set.
A PVC inlay covered with EVA foam and a silicon recoil stopper.
Results, Painless, Soundless retract of the rip tab with no impact to the plastic tab protected in its foam jacket = no breakage to the tab and no bruises to the hand XD
Cheers~!

BB-93 Booster Ray Unicorno D125CS
Got my hands on a Booster version of the Ray Unicorno
BB-93 Ray Unicorno D125CS
Reason: to do a comparison test between the two versions.
BB-71 (Back) and BB-93(Front)
Parts Layout
The test started as there was a rumor that the Booster version has a heavier Metal Wheel than the Starter version. And so the simple test begin with the weighing of the two Metal Wheels.
The MW of BB-71 weighs 29grams.
And the MW of BB-93 weighs 30grams (1g more)
So it is true that there IS a weight difference between the two versions!
Futhermore to add, the Track and Bottom of the two versions are also different.
BB-71 Track and Bottom are Opaque Grey and BB-93 Track and Bottom are Clear Gray in color.
In weight their the same.
I ran some battle test between the two beys and the results are as follows.
Battle Test 10 Rounds on Standard Stamina Stadium.
BB-71 = W2 L5 D1 KO2
BB-91 = W7 L2 D1 KO0
Overall, BB-91 Win 7
Of course, I don't believe 1g would make such big difference in results but there you have it.

HellFlame Kerbecs F145MGD/SD
Customizer Mori at it again!
Well, it all started when I noticed that the Flame Metal Wheel is actually the same Diameter as the Boost Disk on the Hell Kerbecs.
Guess it will be cool to make the Flame MW into a Metal Boost Disk, so it happened~
So did some modifications and...
And the HellFlame Kerbecs F145MGD/SD is Born!
Now for some tests trials XD
Since the new Kerbecs is way off the weight charts, running some stamina tests would seem more practical as i do not wish to spoil any MW in the process.
So first up, HellFlame Kerbecs L145MGD Normal Mode.
3, 2, 1, GO SHOOT!!!
Launched with BeyLauncher LR from Gravity Perseus in a standard stamina stadium.
After 5mins 21secs the Bey is still in 'sleep mode'
and at 7mins 14secs the Bey made its stop.
carried out 3 test on Normal mode.
Results
1)7m 14sec
2)7m 12sec
3)7m 10sec
Next up, HellFlame Kerbecs F145DS Boost Mode. (Yes the modification CAN switch modes~)
Same Launcher and Stadium is used.
After 9mins 12secs, the Bey is still in 'sleep mode'!!!!!
And finally after 10mins 13secs, the Bey made its stop!
3 tests Results
1)10m 13sec
2)9m 55sec
3)9m 57sec
O_O
yes, I am shocked at the results.
And I am happy with the modification!
Maybe I will do some Attack Test next time ya~

BB-94 Tornado BeyStadium
Finally got the 2nd motorized BeyStadium~
BB-94 Tornado BeyStadium
Its kind of late in my collection but i just have to get this BeyStadium for Review Tests and also to add BB-94 Tornado Herculeo 105F to my collection XD
Tornado MW, Herculeo CW, Herculeo Face Bolt.
105 Track, Flat Bottom and Tool.
Besides the additional "Slide Rails" and missing "Barrier Gates" in comparison to the BB-51 Extreme BeyStadium. The Tornado earns its name because of this 'lens-like' portion on the rotatary disc (yellow). The 'Tornado Point' catches any bey and make it deliver a super powerful and fast spin attack. Of course only selected bottoms can fully acustom to this feature. (ie: F, HF, WF, XF...)
Tried switching the 'Rotatary Disc' between the two Stadiums, I guess it didn't work. Though they are of the same diameter, the height for the disc is different, so it doesn't match :)
Now to do some tests on the new BeyStadium~!

BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD Secret
Found a review on the Basalt Metal Wheel pretty interesting. (image taken from WBBA Production Blog for reference only.)
Apparently, the basalt wheel i heavier than the banned pre-HWS Libra and the recent Hell MW. (well we all know that dun we.)
What was interesting was that the Basalt was not just a "heavy" Metal Wheel, but it has a hidden "off center weight" design hidden in the MW.
The difference in mass between the heavy solid portion and the sudden empty pocket in the MW, allows the Basalt to deliver a strong 'counter' effect to its opponent when hit. (was wondering why all the japan users use RS for its bottom) super effective against attack types.
For those interested, please check https://my.takaratomy-business-service.co.jp/community/beyblade/2011/01/post-4.html

CoroCoro Feb Issue~
Collected the Feburary issue of CoroCoro Comic Yesternite.
Here are some interesting pages with Beyblade information~
There is a fold-out page featuring the 3rd America team Maximum Bey - Basalt Horogium.
BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD is a Right Spin Bey.
The article states that the MW(Metal Wheel) is Solid right up to the Left/Right Locking Column and its weight makes it "impossible" to flip. Tilting it in the process making will make the Basalt MW execute a "Smash Attack". The design on the MW also eliminates any "catching" of other MW increasing its defence and stamina.
(Basalt Horogium is soft released at the World Hobby Fair on the 16th January 2011, actual retail release will be on 19th Feb.)
Introducing the next Maximum series Bey, BB-102 Screw Capricone 90MF~!
With a strong Upper Attack of the Screw MW making it the "Maximum Upper" Bey.
New Bottom MF - Metal Flat allows Screw Capricone to have a longer spin attack ratio, Increasing its Screw Upper Attacks~!
Also featured below is the next CoroCoro exclusive Bey, Mercury Anubis 85RF Brave Ver.
A full two page on possible Bey configurations with the new series beys~
Issue Comes with Free Hell Kerbecs Weight Boost Hard Rock Stickers~!
The stickers apparently are added to the under sides of the Hell Kerbecs parts CW(Clear Wheel) and MW to increase Weight, Stamina and Balance. (by 3.2 grams to be exact)
The stickers are allowed in the competitions as it is approved by WBBA, mentioned in the article.
A schedule page on whats coming for the WHF(World Hobby Fair).
Besides the soft release of the BB-104 Basalt Horogium, Bladers can try their luck in a point battle where each winning player will be given a scratch ticket which allows them to win a Limited WBBA Burn Phoenix 90WF Blizzard Ver.
Event also features a New Bey Stadium - DX Fighting Battle Stadium!
Its a new stadium that is so big it can have 6 Beys battling in one go!
Will be released after WHF and comes with 90 Track and WF bottom.
And of course the long anticipated "Big Bang Metal Wheel" prototype! (Love the Wing design~)
The Big Bang MW belong to an all new Pegasis rendition which is also known as the "Reborn" of the Pegasis as the Galaxy got Destroyed in the battle with Hell Kerbecs.
Some Manga shots of the New Big Bang Pegasis, and Ginga shooting it off WITH HIS HAND!!!!!FTW
The prototype of the new "Fusion Bottom" - 'Genesis' is also featured.
the fusion bottom is basically a combine "track" and "bottom" single part.
the "Genesis" Bottom is a switch type where SF(Semi Flat) can be Retracted to become a RF(Rubber Flat) it is still not known if this is an Automatic system or Manual.
More details will be out Next issue and also the New Pegasis 3 CW(Clear Wheel) Prototype.
*WBBA note: please note that all the presented pics are prototypes, final designs and names will be changed and might not be the same as planned.
Other Information includes BB103 - Snipe Launcher, which is basically a BeyLauncher2 with a 180 degrees swivel Rip Cord! For more precise slide shoot angles!
Also, on the right is the DVD release of the Recent BeyBlade Movie (Versus the Sun) which features Sol Blaze V145AS - the DVD comes with a limited edition "Ray Unicorno - Rainbow Ver." Pics Not Available. DVD released on 18 Feb 2011.
