The Flash Metal Wheel

The Flash MW is a 2 Tier mode changeable Metal Wheel that is Not Circular in design.

The Flash MW is actually Oval in Shape when in Attack Mode (Left), and is 2 Overlapping Ovals in Stamina Mode (Right).

When in Attack Mode, The Flash MW have two major weight shift points instead of a even circumference weight distribution. The thickest parts of the 2 Tier Metal Wheel layers are composed together to creat a Thick and Heavy weight 'Wall' on each of the two sides of the Oval MW.

When in Stamina Mode, The Flash MW splits its MW's weight by crossing the two Oval MWs over, this divides the 2 sided weight into a 4 section balance type attribute. The 'Wall' is also reduced and more concentrated to the top tier instead.

Overall the MW is pretty heavy in mass and is only a few grams short of the Basalt MW at 46.23grams.

Beyblade Battle Trial

Curious at the claimed 'Super High Attack' capabilites, i just have to see in in action.

For this Trial, the Flash Sagittario 230WD is put against Duo Uranus 230WD, another height tracked bey with similar attributes. A normal Standard Attack BeyStadium is used.

In Attack Mode, the Flash MW is a Killer! The Recoils this MW delivers is so powerful, the BeyStadium moves even on a frictioned base.

And after a couple of clashes, Duo Uranus was sent flying out of the Stadium. The Attack of the MW was indeed powerful.

In Stamina Mode, the Flash surprisingly still retains a huge level of Recoil. And was able to Stadium Out Duo a couple of times in Max Spin Ratio. But when the Spin Ratio reaches a Low, the MW starts to have some problems.

Then comes the negative point, the Flash MW has a very bad weight balance in Stamina Mode. Due to the Upper Weight distribution and high Track, the Flash Sagittario 230WD tilts very badly once off center, making the bey circle around which takes up alot of spin ratio. Perhaps the Bey need a better Stablizing Setting like Metal FaceBolt and a lower Track below 145. But overall, the Stamina Stand Alone is quite good with a timing average of 4.12 minutes max.

In summary the Flash Sagittario 230WD is a very Powerful Bey when in Attack Mode, but not Recommended to Stamina Battle with due to its low balance settings, Beys like Scythe Kronos and Bearing Drives and easily out spin it. But i have to say the Unique shaped MW and its Super High Attack Capabilities made up for it. Definately a Bey to look out for and a must have for Collectors. I mean, it IS the Last Bey of the Season ya?
Will be looking forward to the next season ZERO G and its new Samurai Ifraid W145CF Bey!
Oh wait, coming is in the shipment...hmmmm

BB-124 Kries Cygnus 145WD

BB-124 Kries Cygnus 145WD
Finally a Bey with a 'rotational' Metal Wheel? Or is it?

Kries Metal Wheel

The Kries MW is a 2 Tier interswitchable MW with a 'Semi-Rotating' Outer Metal Ring. Yes, it is NOT a Free Spinning Outer Ring. (Much dissapointment i might say.) Instead the Outer Metal Ring in Defence Mode delivers an 'Absorb and Push' function upon an attack from the opponent.

When in Attack Mode, the Kries Outer MW locks into place creating a solid 'Bowl-like' MW.

Its down slope MW surface pushes opponents MW downwards when in battle, making it a very effective de-stablizer MW. the heavy Outer MW also handles Attacks very well with little impact and acceptable Recoil.

The Kries MW when set in Defence Mode, has a small gap between the contacts of the Outer and Inner MW, When an oncoming force hits the Outer MW, the Shock will be 'Absorbed' by the MW.

The Outer Metal Ring is also able to 'Push' away Side Attacks by rotating 90 degrees when encountering an attack off the center position. Outer MW 'Absorbs the attack, and 'Pushes' the Bey's Force to the side, thus Evading any attack. (Sounds very 'Tai Chi' if you ask me.)

Sounds pretty impressive in theory ya? Let see if it works in Battle Runs.

Run some Battle Test Runs in a Standard Attack BeyStadium with Death Quetzacolt 145WD.

And when in Max Rotational Force, the Kries MW did have come effect in 'pushing' away an attack, it also takes oncoming Attacks pretty well will little to no Recoil.

But the Trashing begins when its Rotational Force drops, the effects of the Kries MW soon dies with low spin ratio and Recoils becomes very high, and it also loses Spin Ratio greatly, losing out in Stamina :(

Was pretty much impressed that the 'Absorb and Push' Effect worked but sadly it did not last throughout the whole battle. I would say that it is highly recommended against Attack based Beys which are naturally low in Stamina to wear out their Attack Speed, but NOT against Stamina Beys with 'Bearing Drives'.

The Kries MW in overall would be a useful addition to the Defence MW Family but lacks greatly in Stamina when in Defence Mode. Would be nice if the MW was a fully rotational one but that might compromise its 'Absorb' Capabilities. Overall Kries Cygnus is a nice Bey to have if you are up with High Attack Beys if not, a must have for Collectors ya~

Coro Coro Comic March 2012 Issue Review.

This Issue of CoroCoro Comic March has a small image of Ginga in the bottom left corner of the mag. So do take note when purchasing it.

This issue brings great news about tthe NEW Beyblade season!
Metal Fight Beyblade ZERO G!

Features first new Bey from the new series "Samurai Ifraid W145CF".
New FaceBolt design, New Metal Wheel Design, Colored Jewel Concept~

Apparently 'Samurai' was from the HMS series and probably the new season will be touching on Beys from that series ya.

The New Season also comes with a new BeyStadium, the ZeroG Attack Stadium.

As reviewed, in the last issue, the new BeyStadium, as a 'tilting' effect during battle caused by the rotational force by the beys in the stadium. So Balance and Weight is pretty much a core factor in this new gameplay.

the report mentions that previous Gen Beys will still be able to function in the new stadium BUT the new 'tilting' factor will affect their initial performance, so new combos must be created with new parts for this new season! That also means the beys for this season are intercompatible!

The Final Bey for Metal Fight Beyblade 4D is also released, Flash Sagittario 230WD~
(Jap: the new Sagittario is NOT Round?!?)

Yes, apparently the new Flash MW is a 2 tier MW with 2 Heavy Weighted sides in 'Attack Mode'. Metal Wheel is also shaped in an 'Oval' instead of the regular circlular frame.
The 230WD was a surprise to many Japanese Fans as the pre-announced GB145EMS (Eternal Metal Sharp) was scrapped due to production QA reasons. So a big dissapointment for the LAST bey for the season. More about the Stamina Mode in the next issue.

In the Final Chapter of the comic, Ginga's Pegasis was defeated and destroyed by Nemesis.

And as expected, Kenta, appeared to defend and cheer Ginga on, the rest of his friends followed.

Battered, Ginga tried to gather the help of every blader in the world to help defend it from destruction. And so with the help of DJ, Ginga's request was broadcast all over the world and Blader's all assisted Ginga by lending him their 'Blader Spirit'.

Even Ryuga and the previous 'Baddies' all helped.
and  finally... Kenta's Sagittario Evolved at that very moment (duh?).

A glimsps of the 'Future' season character 'Zero' was seen helping out with his HMS Samurai Bey.

Ginga's Pegasis Reformed and was 'HAND SHOT!!!!" into space!!!

With all that 'Blader Spirit' Ginga, destroyed Nemesis and the World is Saved.

Ginga, thanked Pegasis for his journey with him and also the friends he met along the way.

7 years have passed after the Nemesis incident, Beyblade took on a new system, a new stadium and a new blader comes forward... Zero! with is Samurai Ifraid!

Will be looking forward to the new season coming this March~!
