The Death MW is known as the "wall" in the 4D series of Bey due to its high MW height (in Attack Mode).

Death 4D MW is a 2-Tier inter flip capable MW system that ables 2 mode changes, Attack and Defence.

In Attack Mode, the Death is a tall, metal 'Wall' with many indents and jaggered design on its surface. Its 'crown-like' design maximises its attack capabilities to taller opponents and the hollow grooves in the lower tier depletes opponents spin ratio greatly when in contact with another MW.

In Defence Mode, the top metal ring is flipped over to conceal the hollow grooves on the lower metal wheel forming a thick and round MW. The small displacement between the 2 MWs retains a little 'Recoil' capability.

The Qestzalcoatl also introduce yet another new Rubber-based bottom after the Rubber Ball, the Rubber Defence Flat (RDF). the RDF, in a simple way is a crossover between the Flat bottom and a 'seasoned' Rubber Sharp bottom.

When launched, the RDF performs similar to a Flat, making small circular motion around the mid section of the Bey Stadium.

When countered by another Bey, the RDF functions like a Rubber Sharp, making it very difficult for the opponent Bey to move the Quetzalcoatl from its position.

The RDF, surprisingly holds a little Stamina capability in it despite it being a rubber Flat bottom, of course don't expect any fantasic Bearing Drive like stamina ya.

Overall, the Death Quetzalcoatl 125RDF is quite an all rounder when it comes to Attack and Defence capabilities. With the right Track and Bottom configurations could be quite a good Attack or Defence Bey. The design on the Death MW also make it a must have for any collector. Good Bey to add to the stash~

CoroCoro Comic November Issue Review

A week late, but i guess this issue is a must to review~

CoroCoro Comic November Issue
This month's issue has practically no Bey related images printed on its cover. The only clue you can get is on the middle of the cover, a super tiny image of ginga under the green words. (yup, thats all)

Why the review? This issue talks about the Final Forms of Pegasis and Ldrago!
Jap top: "Pegasis and Ldrago Final Upgrade Transformation!!"
Jap bottom: " Wing Pegasis 90WF and Ldrago Guardian S130MB is Born!!"

The Big Bang Pegasis, known for its Attack 'wings' given an even more powerful "One Strike" explosive Attack design. The Ldrago Destroy, defence/absorb capabilities are also given a massive 'Defence Type' Upgrade. I guess this means we will be expecting 'Recoil' capabilities added to both MWs.

A look at the new Wing Pegasis 90WF, no doubt the mode changing capabilites are forsaken and a more 'upper type' slope design is added to the Wing MW. The triangular piece of MW between the sloped Upper Wings must be the source of the mentioned "One Strike" capability. Similar to Blitz Unicorno's attack Fins, the added "fins" between the Sloped Wings will deliver a 'recoil' attack upon impact.

The Ldrago Guardian S130MB on the other hand is Upgraded to become a more balanced defensive type bey instead of an Attack type. I find the design of the MW similar to the Ldrago 'Rush Mode' minus the jaggard thorns. Since it was mentioned that the new MW will have more powerful 'Defensive' capabilities, my guess iis that it will be hollowed to some extend to propelle a powerful 'recoil' on its opponent. The Absorbing Rubber/PC portion of the MW still remain unchanged.

A small preview of a 3 Bey is also included, as many already mentioned, its probably Uranus. More review on it will be released in next month's issue. What known so far is that it has a 2-tier spiral shaped MW and comes with a 230 Track.

All 3 new beys comes in a DX Ultimate Reshuffle Set, to be released in Late November.

The next page reviews newly released Death Quezacolt 125RDF.

The 4D Death MW is known as the "Rotating Wall". Its so due to its height in MW compared to thinner MWs like Flame, Thermal, Scythe and Forbidden. The Death MW is able to change between two modes by flipping the top tier MW ring.
In Attack Mode, the uneven design on the surface during Attack Mode, degrades the opponent spin ratio greatly upon contact.
In Defence Mode, The grooves on the MW are 'closed' or 'hidden', this minimises surface impact, increasing stamina.

The New 4D Bottom is 'Rubber Defence Flat' (RDF). As clique as it sounds, RDF is the only rubber bottom with a 'Balance Type' catagory rating. The RDF is able to deliver a vigorous Attack motion like RF, Defence capabilities like RB and Stamina abilities like RS. An all-rounder to tackle any opponent types.

As much as i wish that Death Quezacolt and its RDF not ending up like Jade Jupiter (in the shelf...) I can't help but feel doubtful about how great it is. Will have to test it out to convince i guess.

A page on the New Home Edition Ultimate Beyta Stadium!
The Ultimate Beyta Stadium comes with a Prototype Nemesis Bey that have a magnetic core~ this is so to enable the Beyta Stadium to 'Power' up the Bey whenever it goes to the center. Yes, there is a rotating magnetic 'power point' in the center of the Stadium. The direction of the "power point" and height of the Prototype Nemesis is also adjustable to acustom to all kinds of training enviroment. Great Bey Stadium to have for training without peers ya.

in promotion to the new release in Japan, all 1st batch of the Ultimate Beyta Stadium purchase from the official Beyta Shops in Japan will come with a Limited Big Bang Pegasis Blue Wing Version. (Please Note that this is ONLY in Japan during the promo period.)

last but not least, the epic most anticipated Bey in 4D history! Diablo Nemesis!
According to 'Backdoor News' the Diablo MW is a very detailed and complex designed MW with Big Bang Pegasis, Ldrago Destroy and Fang Leone as its main motive with function elements from Blitz Unicorno, Phantom Orion, and Uranus. Its Track and Bottom are fusions of Variares, Scythe Kronos, Jade Jupiter, Beat Lynx and Death Quezacolt. Very WTH indeed. too bad we must wait till the next issue to see its Full Released Image.

In total there are 14 Beys in its motive design, can't wait to see it all come together ya~
For now, how many Beys can you find in its complex Face Design?

New addition to the Limited Exclusive Bey Collection~

WBBA Event Special Exclusive: Fang Leone W105R²F Burning Claw Ver.

Contents Include:
Leone FaceBolt
Leone Clear Wheel
Fang 4D 2Tier Metal Wheel
Wing 105 Track
Right Rubber Flat Bottom
Stickers & Instructions

This Recolored Burnng Claw version of the Fang Leone is released in Japan as a Limited Shop Event Premium, simliar to the Bakushin Susanow Eclipse Ver. Recolored parts include a clear Red CW and a Metallic Red Fang 4D MW. In addition, the Fang Leone original 130 Track and W²D is replaced with W105 Track and R²F Bottom. The modification changes the Fang Leone into an aggressive Attack Type Bey configuration.

My personal favorite in this edition would be its Gold imprinted Leone FaceBolt. Since the original Fang Leone does not come with a printed FaceBolt, it sure adds to the collection well~

Overall, the WBBA Event Special Exclusive Fang Leone W105R²F Burning Claw Ver. is not a must have but its definately a very nicely recolored rendition of the original. Do not forsee using it in any battles thou. lol

BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D

The long awaited "bearing system" is finally re-invented~!

BB-118 Phantom Orion Bearing Drive (B:D)
The Phantom Orion B:D is the Only 4D bey that uses a Ball Bearing Shaft in its Fusion Track/Bottom.

Contents Includes:
FaceBolt (Blank)
Orion Clear Wheel
Phantom 4D Metal Wheel
Bearing Drive 4D Fusion Track/Bottom
Light Launcher 2 (Black) with Rip Cord
Stickers & Instructions
Tool

The Phantom 4D Metal Wheel consist of a 2 piece system that allows the Metal Wheel ring to flip between 2 modes:

The Stamina Mode
Only revealing its gradual slope surface, the Phantom in Stamina Mode minimises critical friction between Metal Wheels during a battle. Spin ratio damage minimised = Stamina Up!

The Attack Mode
In Attack Mode, the Phantom MW inverts into a Jaggered surfaced form that inflicts damage to the opponent upon contact. Stamina Mode surface allows Smash Attack to lower opponents.

The Phantom MW is also the Only Metal Wheel that has a full External Weight Distribution design. This means that All the weight of the MW is concentrated only in the outer circumference of the MW, similiar to the Scythe MW but better in performance.

The long awaited part in the history of beyblades is finally here, the Bearing Drive!

The B:D is basically a Free Spinning WD but with a Ball Bearing Core is in the shaft to minimise surface friction that will reduce much needed stamina in a battle. The Bearing Drive also ables the Phantom Orion to recover from attacks with minimum spin ratio loss by absorbing its damage into its free spinning WD bottom.

Trial Tests
To test the Stamina Capabilites of the Phantom Orion B:D, the bey is put thru a stamina test in a standard attack stadium and timed. Results are as follows:
Test 1 - 4mins 23seconds
Test 2 - 5mins 12seconds
Test 3 - 6mins 59seconds

The best timing recieved was only 6mins 59seconds, yes it is pretty long out of the box but i have seen better reviews with 8minute to 9minute results.

During the trial, a ratttle sound was noted, it is caused by the wobbling of the inner shaft. To make things worst the top end of the Bearing Drive is a Flat Contact Surface that actually comes in contact with the inner shaft surface degrading its free spinning ratio greatly. Since modifications are NOT allowed in bey competitions, the only option is to season the part as much as one could. But that will also means launching the bey many times and the constant impact to the bearing might damage the part before you even season it...so how to one season  the bearing effectively without damaging the part?

So here is the "How To" section that many fellow bladers have been asking.

First prepare a small strip of cardboard, some blutack and your B:D.

Cut 2 small slits 1/3 into the center of the strip of cardboard and fold to create a "Fin".
Yes, we are basically making a propeller that uses wind power to drive the bearing to turn.

Next attach the fin to the B:D by using the Blutack.

Attach new B:D wind propeller near a fan or wind source and its done. Just leave the part to 'season' for a day or so before applying a drop of mineral oil and repeat process till you are satisfied with the results.

Overall the Phantom Orion B:D is without a doubt the best designed 4D bey with the most longest stamina. Although there are some setbacks on the Bearing Drive System, it can be retified with some 'seasoning'. Since the Phantom Orion is the Only Bey with a Ball Bearing system, it makes this bey a must have to any blader and collector. So get yours today ya~

Nighmare Metal Wheel
Basalt Metal Wheel
100 Track
Upper Wing 145 Track
130 Track
Rubber Semi Flat Bottom
Eternal Wide Defence Bottom
Rubber Sharp Bottom
Metal Face 2 with Tool (Neon Orange)
Stickers & Instructions

Yes, the Set is bundled with a Limited CW.MW from Game Premium Bey Nightmare Rex UW145EWD and Recolored Basalt Horogium 130RS.

The highlight of this set would definately be the New 4D Bey Blitz Unicorno 100RSF.

The Blitz 4D Metal Wheel System consist of  2-tier inter-switchable MWs.

In Attack Mode, the Blitz MW has 3 Attack Fins with a big gap in between each of them, this design allows maximum upper and smash capabilities when in contact with another opponents MW.

In Repeative Attack Mode, the Blitz MW increases its Attack Fins to 6 with smaller gaps in between each fin this time round. The design of this Mode is similar to the Dark MW. Although, this mode do not deal much attack damage to the opponent, it degrades the opponents spin ratio and balance greatly if contacted .

Bey Test Trials

In the effort to test the new Blitz rumored super attack capabilities.

It will be put in a Trial with Defence Heavy Weight Bey Basalt Kerbecs DB145CS (Mooncake : Attack ver.) in a Standard Attack Bey Stadium.

Results were less impressive.
Blitz: 0:Win = 0:StaOut 0:SlpOut
Moon: 3Win = 1:StaOut 2:SlpOut

The Blitz Unicorno 100RSF was not able to withstand the defence capabilities of the BD145 and CS stamina, resulting in either a Stadium Out or Sleep Out.

Re-entry Modification

If any remembered, BB-107 Big Bang Pegasis DX Set came with a set of extra Track and Bottom set.
In particular, a cosmic green 85 Track and XF. Added the combi to replace the 100 Track and RSF Bottom and also replaced the FaceBolt with MF2-Heavy.
Re-Trialed Blitz Unicorno 85XF with the Mooncake again.

Results were astonishing.
Blitz: 3:Win = 3:StaOut 0:SlpOut
Moon: 0:Win = 0:StaOut 0:SlpOut

The new combi proves to be able to tackle the BD145 Defence System and Basalts Weight. The trials also prove that the Blitz Attack Fins are quite deadly when put under some serious speed and low Track assist. It will not be surprising that it could perfom even better with a seasoned RB from Jade Jupiter or R2F.

Overall, the Blitz Unicorno 100RSF has a great New Attack MW but lack a good Track and Bottom to boost its Attack functions. But in general, it is a good attack type and a great addition to the Unicorno Upgrade. (changed the FaceBolt to Limited Event Premium Emerald Unicorno Face~)
