Extreme Custom: The Heaviest Possible Bey

Ever since i got my new weighing scale, I have been wanting to solve the question of the "Heaviest Bey Combo" possible using existing available bey parts. (limiting to Season 2 Parts at the moment)

And after some measuring...

Bey Consist of:
Metal Face 2 - Heavy Custom
Kerbecs Clear Wheel
Basalt Metal Wheel
Boost Disk 145 Track
Metal Ball Bottom

The question of the Bull Clear Wheel (Jade Color: 3.39g) being the most heavy CW is untrue as the Kerbecs CW is actually the Heaviest Clear Wheel at 3.43g.

And there you have it, MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145MB is the heaviest possible Bey at a whooping 66.01grams.

Customizer Mori - Thumb Grip "How To..."

As i have been getting a lot of mails and PMs about how i make my "Foam Thumb Grip"...

here's the "How To" make your own~

First, you need the materials:
-Craft Foam (can be bought in Popular, Artfriend, Big Book Shop)
-Thick PVC Clear Sheet (from unwanted PVC boxes, Book Covers, or you can buy at Artfriend)
-Cardboard
-Stationery, Glue, Scissors, Cutting knife, Permanent Marker.

First draw out a rough shape of how you want the "Thumb Grip" to look like on the Cardboard.
*note that the width of the thumb grip must be as long as the "pull bar" on your Bey Launcher.

Cut it out.

Next, trace the Cardboard template of the shape onto the PVC sheet using a permanent marker.
*roughly draw a "5mm slit line" on each side of the "O" gap for stretching allowance later.

Cut those out. (Remember to cut the "slit lines" also)

Next Glue the PVC cut outs onto the Craft Foam using "UHU Foam Glue - UHU Por"

Wait for total dry out (aprx 6 hours) and Cut them out~

*Remember to cut the "slit lines" on the craft foam also, if not your Beylauncher Pull Bar will not fit through.

and you are ready to slip the BeyLauncher Pull Bar through the "O" and glue or double side tape the ends together after bending the Tab.

For that additional "Impact Cushioning", you can use a small spring (from retractable ballpens) and twist it in the string to absorb any return impact that will crack the Pull Bar.

And your own-made foam "Thumb Grip" is complete!

Hope this DIY session is helpful to the "Pull Bar" breaking problem ya~

Mori Customed Rip Tab Protector~

Noticed that many bladers Beylaunchers have broken rip tabs during a recent tournament.
Those that broke happen due to the letting off of the tab at maximum pull, the recoil pulls back and caused the tab to hit back with an impact that breaks it.

Tried using BB-81 Launcher Rubber, but the rubber tab is hard and heavy, so sometimes will bruise the hand when the tab recoils back.

Solution...

Mori Customised Foam Launcher Tab Protector Set.

A PVC inlay covered with EVA foam and a silicon recoil stopper.

Results, Painless, Soundless retract of the rip tab with no impact to the plastic tab protected in its foam jacket = no breakage to the tab and no bruises to the hand XD

Cheers~!

HellFlame Kerbecs F145MGD/SD

Customizer Mori at it again!

Well, it all started when I noticed that the Flame Metal Wheel is actually the same Diameter as the Boost Disk on the Hell Kerbecs.

Guess it will be cool to make the Flame MW into a Metal Boost Disk, so it happened~

So did some modifications and...

And the HellFlame Kerbecs F145MGD/SD is Born!

Now for some tests trials XD
Since the new Kerbecs is way off the weight charts, running some stamina tests would seem more practical as i do not wish to spoil any MW in the process.

So first up, HellFlame Kerbecs L145MGD Normal Mode.

3, 2, 1, GO SHOOT!!!

Launched with BeyLauncher LR from Gravity Perseus in a standard stamina stadium.

After 5mins 21secs the Bey is still in 'sleep mode'

and at 7mins 14secs the Bey made its stop.

carried out 3 test on Normal mode.
Results
1)7m 14sec
2)7m 12sec
3)7m 10sec

Next up, HellFlame Kerbecs F145DS Boost Mode. (Yes the modification CAN switch modes~)

Same Launcher and Stadium is used.

After 9mins 12secs, the Bey is still in 'sleep mode'!!!!!

And finally after 10mins 13secs, the Bey made its stop!

3 tests Results
1)10m 13sec
2)9m 55sec
3)9m 57sec

O_O

yes, I am shocked at the results.
And I am happy with the modification!

Maybe I will do some Attack Test next time ya~

Customizer Mori - CF Coated Flat Trial

Customizer Mori Reviewing my latest Bey Bottom~

CF Coated Flat custom

Comparing to the CS from Unicorno (right ), the CF is a slightly lower (-3mm).

Bey Battle test ( Earth Aquila 145D vs. Gravity Perusus 100CF custom)

CF is Flat coated with a half Sphere Silicon Rubber to add attacking grip strength~
Attack UP!!!

Sphere Silicon Ring enables Maximum Tilt - apx 40 degrees (Similar to Ball function)
Balance UP!!!

Combination of Flat and Sphere Silicon Coating Recreates a Defence adsorbing surface when Countered.
Defence Up!!!

Nature of small Flat surface, adds stamina to a low bey.
Stamina Up!!!

20 Battle results (20101227 update)
Opponent Knock Outs = 12/20
Self Knock Outs = 2/20
Stamina Win = 4/20
Lose = 2/10
Tie = 0/20

Avg = 16/20 (High)

Not bad for a Attack/Stamina/Defence/Balance all in one bottom ya~

Will be sending this in to WBBA for review.
